Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design & Development:
o Lead the design and development of innovative air conditioning systems ensuring
they meet performance energy efficiency and sustainability standards.
o Design mechanical components assemblies and systems using CAD software (e.g.
AutoCAD SolidWorks).
o Develop prototypes and conduct tests to evaluate the performance and efficiency of
new products.
2. Product Optimization:
o Analyze and improve existing designs to enhance performance reduce energy
consumption and optimize operational costs.
o Work closely with the electrical and controls teams to ensure integration of
mechanical components with electrical and control systems.
3. Prototyping & Testing:
o Build and test physical prototypes of air conditioning systems including HVAC
components such as compressors heat exchangers and fan systems.
o Perform stress analysis thermal testing and airflow simulations to ensure product
reliability and compliance with industry standards.
4. Collaboration & Innovation:
o Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including electrical engineers software
developers and production staff to bring innovative ideas to life.
o Research and implement the latest technologies materials and manufacturing
processes to improve air conditioning products.
5. Technical Documentation:
o Prepare detailed engineering specifications technical drawings and reports to
support product development.
o Document design processes test results and design iterations for future reference
and compliance purposes.
6. Manufacturing Support:
o Provide support during the manufacturing process by troubleshooting mechanical
issues and ensuring that design specifications are followed during production.
o Work with the manufacturing team to streamline production and ensure quality
control during the creation of new air conditioning products.
7. Regulatory Compliance & Standards:
o Ensure that designs comply with local national and international standards and
regulations for HVAC systems.
o Participate in the certification process for energy efficiency and environmental
impact standards (e.g. LEED ISO AHRI etc..
