Job Description

As the Senior Director of Strategic Accounts you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and growing key national customer relationships leading thoughtful strategies that deliver mutual value and longterm success in our luxury plumbing and hardware verticals. You will collaborate across teams guide and support a highperforming sales organization and contribute to building a connected customerfocused approach that strengthens our presence in the market. Your leadership will foster meaningful partnerships enable crossfunctional alignment and drive positive outcomes for our customers and business.

Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield IL. Effective mid2025 Fortune Brands will transition to a new worldclass campus in Deerfield bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices brands and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration along with amenities for dining onsite daycare fitness and recreation.

What you will be doing

  • Champion national account growth by leading with purpose and overseeing key partnerships with toptier customers.
  • Cocreate account strategies and negotiate agreements that align with our longterm vision while delivering strong business results.
  • Support coach and empower Regional Sales Managers and Strategic Account Managers to ensure seamless at the local level.
  • Provide direct guidance to strategic account sales associates helping to unlock the full value of our national partnerships.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong seniorlevel relationships with customers prioritizing connection trust and shared success.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing to bring new products to market manage the product lifecycle and support promotional and channel strategies tailored to national accounts.
  • Share key insights with senior leadership keeping them informed of performance market dynamics customer needs and emerging trends.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in sales specifically large national accounts.
  • Experience managing guiding and influencing a sales team.  
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and thoughtfully apply resources to enhance impact and return on investment.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel 50 and engage in work outside of standard hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $125000 USD $190000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased sales incentive plan.
