Job Description
- Pick up and deliver goods to customers
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely ensuring proper handling of all items
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to meet timesensitive deadlines and improve efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries pickups and any discrepancies or issues encountered during routes
- Conduct pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch customers and other team members regarding delivery status delays or issues
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle including proper arrangement of cargo
- Adhere to all company policies traffic laws and safety regulations
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications :
- Valid AZ License required
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Knowledge of the Timmins area and surrounding regions would be an asset
- Proficiency in load security techniques and regulations
- Forklift experience would be an asset
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs regularly
