Medical Sales Rep (Permanent) West Rand Gauteng
POSITION: Permanent
COMMENCEMENT: ASAP
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To achieve maximum sales profitability growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the companys products and/or related services. Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered Nurse Anaesthetic or ICU experience and trained
- 3 Years working experience in ICU or Anaesthetic
- Computer literacy
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) fluent in English.
- Code 08 drivers license
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Promote/sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers
- Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers
- Assisting customers in selecting products and services best suited to their needs
- Travel to defined geographies in Free State
- Analyze the territory/markets potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers
- Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers
- Identify advantages and compare the organizations products/services
- Plan and organize personal sales strategy
- Supply reports on customer needs problems interests competitive activities and potential for new products and services
- Establish develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers
- Prearranged or coldcalling inperson visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Keep abreast of product applications market conditions competitive activities advertising and promotional trends
- Preparing and presenting training material
- Managing allocated expense budget
- Keeping detailed records of contacts and details on database
- Compile monthly reports
- Compile a weekly and monthly call plan
