Job Description

Medical Sales Rep (Permanent) West Rand Gauteng

POSITION: Permanent

COMMENCEMENT: ASAP

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To achieve maximum sales profitability growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the companys products and/or related services. Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Registered Nurse Anaesthetic or ICU experience and trained
  • 3 Years working experience in ICU or Anaesthetic
  • Computer literacy
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) fluent in English.
  • Code 08 drivers license

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Promote/sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers
  • Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers
  • Assisting customers in selecting products and services best suited to their needs
  • Travel to defined geographies in Free State
  • Analyze the territory/markets potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers
  • Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers
  • Identify advantages and compare the organizations products/services
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy
  • Supply reports on customer needs problems interests competitive activities and potential for new products and services
  • Establish develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers
  • Prearranged or coldcalling inperson visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Keep abreast of product applications market conditions competitive activities advertising and promotional trends
  • Preparing and presenting training material
  • Managing allocated expense budget
  • Keeping detailed records of contacts and details on database
  • Compile monthly reports
  • Compile a weekly and monthly call plan
