We are seeking a skilled and motivated Utilities & Public Works Project Manager to join our team in Austin TX. In this role you will lead and manage a variety of exciting projects that enhance our community from essential utilities and stormwater infrastructure to roadways trails and transit systems.

Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage all phases of public infrastructure projects from planning and design to construction and closeout.
- Technical Expertise: Apply your knowledge of civil engineering principles to design and oversee the construction of utilities stormwater systems roadways and other public works projects.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers architects surveyors and permitting expeditors.
- Client Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Civil 3D Bentley StormCAD/CivilStorm HECHMS and HECRAS to develop accurate and efficient designs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure projects adhere to quality standards regulatory requirements and client specifications.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 4 years of public infrastructure engineering design experience with 2 years in a Project Manager role or equivalent PE experience.
- Licensure: Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas is required (or the ability to obtain within 3 months of the start date).
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage project scope schedule budget and resources effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Civil 3D Bentley StormCAD/CivilStorm HECHMS and HECRAS.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients team members and stakeholders.
- Teamwork: A strong desire to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
