In 2022 Enterprise Knowledge (EK)s CEO and COO wrote Making Knowledge Management Clickable: Knowledge Management Systems Strategy Design and Implementation which was published by Springer Books. The book has sold thousands of copies and become one of the topselling books in our industry. Now EKs leadership is working on a new book and is seeking an intern to work alongside us to edit it coordinate the cycles of feedback and review it before it is published. This summer internship position is based in our office in the Metro DC area.
As a Summer Intern: Technical Book Editor you will take a lead role in copyediting citing and formatting this new technical volume. You will also be responsible for coordinating the creation of graphics for the book working directly with the publishers to respond to feedback and incorporate new inputs from EKs authors. This will give you an inside view of the critical steps involved in taking a book from draft to published work.
Our paid internship is crafted to enhance your professional skills while offering invaluable insights into the vibrant culture and impactful work at EK.
Our Internship Program is fulltime paid internship $22/hour) and runs from June 2nd to August 8th.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
This role requires that you live within a comfortable commutable distance of our Arlington VA office and that you are willing to be onsite Monday thru Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
