Our Holden LA lumber mill is seeking a Leadership Development Professional (LDP). This is afulltime salaried exempt training position that provides excellent growth potential and opportunity for a leadership role at one of our many locations throughout the U.S. at the end of the program.

The Leadership Development Professional role is an entry level leadership developmental position. Working under close guidance with assigned mentors across day and night shifts you will be accountable for growing and strengthening your leadership skills and general business understanding of the manufacturing processes and operations of a Lumber mill and other major function areas through a detailed 12month development plan including handson learning operational rotations and successful completion of process improvement projects.
This is a fulltime nonexempt position and will report to the Mill Manager. Relocation benefits are available for this and subsequent positions. This role is a part of the Wood Products business working in the Southern Lumber Region at the Holden Lumber Mill located in Holden LA. The Holden Mill produces dimensional lumber in various lengths used in residential construction. Holden LA is in southeastern Louisiana and is conveniently located 15 miles west of Hammond 67 miles north of New Orleans and 30 miles east of Baton Rouge.
The successful individual will be assigned to a role that fits a business need within Weyerhaeuser Company. This future role will not be located at the training site unless there is a local need. Otherwise the candidate will be required to relocate at the end of the assignment.

Compensation:This role is eligible for our annual meritincrease program and we are targeting a salary range of $56600 to $84000 based on your level of skills qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program which offers a cash bonus targeting 5 of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation:We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with paid vacation for up to 3 weeks to use during your first year of employment. In addition after being employed for six months eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year providing a total of 88 hours along with paid parental leave for all fulltime employees
