Job Title: Employment Counsel Litigation Specialist

About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Employment Counsel with a strong background in litigation to join their Las Vegas NV office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent employers in a variety of employmentrelated litigation matters including discrimination harassment wage and hour disputes and other complex legal issues. The ideal candidate will have 29 years of experience be barred in Georgia and demonstrate a deep understanding of employment law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent employers in all phases of employment litigation including pretrial trial and appellate proceedings.
- Provide counsel to clients on employment law compliance risk management and litigation avoidance.
- Handle a diverse caseload involving claims of discrimination harassment retaliation wage and hour disputes and more.
- Draft and argue motions conduct depositions and engage in mediation and settlement negotiations.
- Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with clients business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure exceptional case management and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Nevada State Bar (required).
- 29 years of experience practicing employment law with a focus on litigation.
- Proven ability to handle all aspects of litigation including discovery depositions and courtroom advocacy.
- Strong legal research writing and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service and achieving favorable outcomes.
