We are seeking a highly analytical and detailoriented Business Analyst to join our team. In this role you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders product managers and software engineering teams to ensure that business requirements are effectively captured analyzed and translated into functional specifications. Additionally you will play a key role in supporting user acceptance testing overseeing rollout processes and evaluating solutions to drive continuous improvement through actionable insights and feedback.
Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather and document business
requirements ensuring that objectives and goals are clearly articulated.
Analysis and Documentation: Analyse business processes identify areas for improvement
and document requirements in the form of use cases functional requirements acceptance
criteria workflows wireframes etc.
Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers software engineers and testers to ensure
a mutual understanding and refinement of requirements.
Solution Design: Assist in the design of software solutions that align with business goals
ensuring feasibility and scalability.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the
technical team ensuring continuous and effective communication.
Testing and Validation: Participate in the development and of user test plans to
validate that the developed solutions meet the specified requirements.
Project Support: Provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle including change
management risk assessment and issue resolution.
Continuous Feedback: Provide feedback and insights for continuous improvement of the
products and services and the business analysis processes and practices
Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product
development and strategic decisions
Requirements:
Experience as a Business Analyst Product Owner or similar role in a software engineering or
technology environment
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques including requirement gathering
process modelling and data analysis
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Experience with project management tools such as Aha!. JIRA Confluence or similar
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical concepts
to nontechnical stakeholders
Great attention to detail and quality with a shift left mindset and an understanding that
quality is built in to software from the requirements
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP CCBA) or Product Owner (e.g. CSPO) certifications a bonus
but not essential
