Job Description
Position : Project Engineer
Employment Type : Contract

Location : KL Office
Scope of Works:
- Assist the Project Manager in developing and executing the 100MW/400MWh BESS project including feasibility studies costing project control and reporting.
- Engage with key stakeholders through strategic presentations securing endorsements for project deployment.
- Coordinate project including tendering processes contractor engagement and compliance monitoring ensuring adherence to scope schedule and budget.
- Oversee onsite implementation resolving operational challenges and ensuring compliance with project governance and performance benchmarks.
- Act as a focal point between Engineering Procurement Contracts and Construction teams ensuring smooth crossfunctional collaboration.
- Manage crossfunctional teams including electrical civil and control systems engineers ensuring integrated BESS designs meet operational and regulatory standards.
- Support full lifecycle management of BESS projects including requirements definition vendor selection design review and oversight.
- Prepare and maintain Project Plans technical reports and progress updates to support structured decisionmaking.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate uptodate and aligns with company and regulatory requirements.
Requirement(s):
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Renewable Energy or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in project engineering preferably in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Renewable Energy or Power Systems.
- Strong knowledge of energy storage technologies project management principles and engineering standards.
- Experience in tendering contract management and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in risk assessment feasibility studies and cost modeling for energy projects.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
