Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OTR) Rehabilitation & LongTerm Care
Location: Near Pittsburgh PA
Job Type: FullTime (Monday Friday) with Occasional Weekend Coverage
Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our rehabilitation team in a longterm care facility near Pittsburgh PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating planning and implementing individualized treatment programs to help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life. This role is primarily Monday through Friday with occasional weekend coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess residents functional abilities and limitations.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility strength coordination and daily living skills.
Provide therapeutic interventions for residents with physical cognitive and psychosocial challenges.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physicians nurses physical therapists and speechlanguage pathologists to ensure comprehensive care.
Educate residents families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued progress.
Document patient progress treatment plans and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
Participate in team meetings care planning sessions and staff training as needed.
Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy services.
Required: Licensed as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligible for licensure).
Education: Bachelors Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) longterm care (LTC) or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with residents families and staff.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
