Job Description
Job Title: Janitor
Location: Taos NM 87571
Duration: 1year (options for 26 weeks or long term)
Start Date: May 2025
Shift Schedule: 6:30 am3:30 pm and 8:30 am5:30 pm. 40 hr. a week.
Qualification
Education: High School
Experience: 2 years of past experience working in a corporate or healthcare setting
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping dusting and polishing surfaces in all hightouch areas.
- Refill restroom supplies such as toilet paper soap paper towels and hand sanitizer dispensers.
- Collect and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste ensuring proper handling and disposal procedures.
- Operate floor maintenance equipment to buff strip and wax floors as well as shampoo and vacuum carpets.
- Follow infection control protocols and use appropriate PPE as required by safety policies.
- Handle emergency cleaning tasks such as spills biohazardous waste removal and deep cleaning requests.
- Maintain and secure cleaning equipment report needed repairs and track supply inventory.
