Job Title Senior Azure Engineer VP Level (DevOps Python)
Project Location Jersey City NJ or New York NY 23 days onsite in a week
Duration 612 months contract

Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Azure Engineer (VP Level) to support DevOps initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure cloud environments strong Python scripting skills and a deep understanding of DevOps practices. This role requires expertise in infrastructure automation CI/CD pipelines and cloud security to optimize deployment processes in a highly regulated financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and manage Azurebased cloud solutions for enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform ARM templates or Bicep.
- Automate deployment processes using Python PowerShell or Bash.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Ensure cloud security and compliance in line with financial industry regulations.
- Monitor troubleshoot and optimize cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers security teams and system administrators.
- Implement logging monitoring and alerting using tools like Azure Monitor Prometheus and Grafana.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8 years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps with a focus on Azure.
- Expertise in Python scripting for automation and infrastructure management.
- Strong handson experience with Azure DevOps Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker.
- Deep understanding of networking security and access management in cloud environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines version control (Git) and configuration management tools.
- Proficiency in Terraform ARM templates or other IaC tools.
- Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience working in financial services required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
- Experience with Ansible Chef or Puppet for configuration management.
- Knowledge of AI/ML workflows on Azure is a bonus.
