Job Description
Title: Android Reverse Software Engineer
Location: Austin TX San Jose CA or Seattle WA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Interview: WebEx
Our client is seeking a senior level Android Software Engineer that has experience in reverse engineering Kotlin or JAVA code to uncover Malware embedded in the code.
The team will:
- Reverse Engineer ANDROID applications & SDKs to identify malware
- These apps are typically written in Kotlin and JAVA
- Analyze the Malware to uncover its capabilities tendencies etc.
The candidate has to have experience in reverse engineering android apps.
It will be beneficial if they have reverse engineered code for malware but if they have reverse engineered code for reasons other than malware such as understanding how a competitors app works that can work as well.
