Job Summary:
We are hiring an InHouse Sales Executive with a tea industry background to handle direct sales operations from our head office. The role involves engaging with customers managing inquiries processing orders and driving sales performance while showcasing our premium tea products.
Key Responsibilities:
Attend to customer inquiries via phone email and inperson at the head office providing detailed information about our tea products and services.
Coordinate with brokers to ensure proper representation of teas in the auctions.
Verify and maintain records of auctionrelated transactions including lot details bid prices and sales summaries.
Process sales orders accurately and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain customer records track inquiries and follow up on leads to close sales. Prepare sales reports and present performance updates to management.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and supply chain teams to manage stock availability.
Assist in organizing inhouse tea tastings sales promotions and customer engagement events.
Support the marketing team by sharing customer feedback and insights to refine product offerings and campaigns.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive customer engagement and upselling techniques.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Graduate in any discipline (preferably in sales marketing or hospitality).
Experience: 2 years in sales customer service or a similar role ideally within the tea or hospitality industry
Tea Expertise: Knowledge of tea types manufacturing processes and tasting techniques is a significant advantage.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Hindi and/or local languages.
Sales Skills: Strong negotiation upselling and relationshipbuilding skills.
Personality: Confident wellspoken and passionate about tea and customer service.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with MS Office email communication.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Candidates with prior experience in the tea industry or a similar background.
A customerfocused approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
