Job Description
Our client a prominent entity in the Solutions Provider industry is enhancing its Governance Practice and is seeking a Senior Data Governance (DG) Consultant to become part of their team. This is a fulltime position with a hybrid work arrangement based in Toronto requiring inoffice presence twice a week at a downtown location.
Your experience you bring will include:
- 4 years of experience designing and/or leading deployment of Data Governance programs in financial services (GSIBs and DSIBs preferred) or designig and/or leading deployment of Metadata Management Data Quality or Master Data Management functions
- Experience and knowledge of applied data management best practices across the data lifecycle
- Experience in executing data onboarding processes including CDE identification performing risk and impact assessments applying compliance controls and metadata gathering and data quality measurement
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with senior/executive client business stakeholders lead the design and adoption of Data
- Governance frameworks strategy organizational components functional competencies and roadmaps
- Apply strong group facilitation and coaching skills to business stakeholders and teams to drive organizational alignment and guide decision making
- Develop maintain and review data & records management policies standards and procedures
- Monitor adherence to data policies and standards ensuring data quality and availability

Education
Required: Bachelor s degree, preferably with concentration in Business Studies, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management; alternately, extensive experience within a Data Management Function. MBA an asset.
