Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the coordination and preparation of all periodic and ad hoc illiquid investment reporting
- Work with broader Global Operations team to own / design investment data and reporting including working with service providers on data delivery and process improvement
- Setup and maintain core system golden source data including investment structure deal attributes and positions in security master
- Capture investment transaction data and prepare request for cash movement between entities
- Process life cycle events including fundings and distributions ensuring compliance with investment agreements (waterfall fees) tax requirements and investor controls
- Setup new illiquid investment/structure including entering deal attributes and positions in system(s) or coordinating details with administrators
- Proactively manage cash activity for each investment relationship including new bank account setup and ongoing account oversight
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to finance illiquid investments and support those financing facilities by preparing and/or reviewing repo confirmations processing life cycle events and maintaining reporting for Capital Markets team
- Support oversight of key operational partners such as Loan Servicers Asset Managers and ThirdParty Administrators
- Participate actively in project related activities including analyzing results of reconciliations of test data to production data and other functional testing required for system enhancements
- Field ad hoc requests as necessary.
Requirements
Job Requirements and Credentials:
Essential (MUST HAVE)
- College degree in Finance Accounting or related field of study
- 13 years of work experience; Investment Management Accounting experience
- Microsoft Office: Word and Excel are a must required
Desired (Plus but not a requirement)
- Experience in Geneva and Black Mountain Systems is preferred
