Main Skills Technologies and Methodologies: Siemens Opcenter MOM Opcenter EX DS Opcenter EX FN MES OPCUA PLC/SCADA Agile Incident Management Problem Management Change Management Service Request KPI SLA Manufacturing Systems (MES) Digital Manufacturing Continuous Process Improvement.
About the Role: This role involves working directly with customer stakeholders to design and implement solutions on the Siemens Opcenter MOM platform. The consultant will perform technofunctional analysis impact assessments and provide product and technical guidance on Opcenter applications. They will also be responsible for development within Opcenter Discrete modules incident management problem management service request change management and ensuring application uptime and availability. This position requires strong coordination with manufacturing sites MES COE interfacing application teams and digital manufacturing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution design and implementation on the Siemens Opcenter MOM platform.
Technofunctional analysis and impact assessment of change and new requirements.
Provide product and technical guidance on Opcenter applications.
Development in Opcenter Discrete modules.
Incident Management Problem Management Service Request and Change Management.
SLA and KPI management ensuring application availability.
Team and customer management.
Knowledge management and periodic governance reporting.
Coordination with manufacturing sites and contextualization of shop floor operations.
Identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities.
Coordinate and contribute with MES COE interfacing application teams and digital manufacturing initiatives.
Work closely with the product team for seamless operations upgrades and implementations.
Essential Skills:
Implementation and support of Manufacturing Systems (MES) on Siemens Opcenter MOM platform.
Development in Siemens Opcenter MOM platform.
Experience with Siemens MOM platform including Opcenter EX FN and Opcenter EX DS.
Domain experience in the manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of Opcenter customization and extensions.
Knowledge of OPCUA and PLC/SCADA interfacing.
Analytical skills problemsolving and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of Agile framework.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with other MES solutions.
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. SQL).
Experience in team management.
Experience with Cloud implementations.
Understanding of digital twin concepts.
