Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL applications including stored procedures triggers and functions.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement database solutions using Oracle Database v19c.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure highquality code.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Follow SDLC and Agile methodologies throughout the development process.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements particularly in finance or insurance environments.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of handson experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Database v19c.
- Familiarity with coding standards code management unit testing and CI/CD.
- Good problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in Japanese (N1 or N2 level).
- Experience in the life insurance sector is an added advantage.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Database v19c.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills (for Lead role).
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
