Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Finance Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting preferably in retail and/or manufacturing environments and possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage our finance team.
- Manage all aspects of financial accounting budgeting forecasting and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards policies and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Lead and mentor the finance team promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement financial controls and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally to support strategic initiatives and business growth.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management to support decisionmaking.
- Manage relationships with external auditors tax advisors and other stakeholders.
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.
Requirements
- CPA qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting functions.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role preferably as a Financial Controller.
- Proven experience in a retail and/or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a highperforming finance team.
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment with a flexible and collaborative mindset.
- Effective communication skills to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willing to work or relocate in Cebu
