Job Description
Job Title: Area Operations Manager Radiology Operations
Location: San Francisco CA (Must be in San Leandro 2x/week)
Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM (may vary)
Salary Range: $95000 $102000 annually
Job Overview:
We are seeking an Area Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and provide direct supervision of Radiologic Technologists and/or Sonographers within a designated region. This leadership role ensures quality standards optimal patient care staff development regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily staff scheduling and ensure coverage across assigned region
- Manage regional performance forecasting and departmental P&L
- Ensure compliance with statespecific Radiation and Health Department regulations
- Provide supervision and direct clinical support to staff
- Conduct 90day and annual staff evaluations
- Coordinate equipment supply repair and fleet maintenance
- Manage image quality assurance and technologist credentialing
- Lead new hire orientation and ongoing staff training
- Handle employee relations and support problemsolving
- Perform imaging exams as needed to maintain service levels
- Collaborate with dispatch to ensure consistent patient care and turnaround times
- Track dosimetry reports and ensure credential compliance
- Report incidents or accidents per company protocols
