Job Description
Easterseals PORT Healths mission is to improve the lives health and wellbeing of individuals and families dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a compassionate caring and dedicated fully licensed Therapist to join our collaborative multidisciplinary outpatient therapy and medication assisted treatment team designed to provide crisis interventions and support to individuals in Greenville NC.
What Youll Do
As a Mental Health and Substance Use Therapist you will utilize screenings evaluations and diagnostic assessments to develop client treatment goals and personcentered plans (PCPs). The PCPs will include input from the clients regarding treatment and diverse aftercare plans. The therapist may provide services to individuals and groups with substance use and mental health struggles to include initiating contact and working with family members or support systems in the care process. We have openings in Greenville NC.
How Youll Benefit
Youll earn a competitive annual salary (Provisional licensure range is $and (Full licensure range starts at $55000 depending on skills experience and dual licensure status. This fulltime position offers a flexible schedule MondayFriday from 8 am5 pm 40 hours per week with evening flexibility depending on program and client needs. What Were Looking For
To join our team as the outpatient therapist you must have indepth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and group techniques as well as their practical application in an Outpatient setting be able to work independently be adept at problem solving and deescalation in times of crisis. We also require:
- Full or provisional Substance Abuse licensure: LCSW LCMHC; we are seeking applicants that are fully licensed or within a year of being fully licensed
- Dual licensure with LCAS (A) preferred
- Experience in Substance use services preferred
- Maintain valid state appropriate drivers license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
