Since starting in Perth in 2012 CMW Geosciences has expanded to 18 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hardworking downtoearth and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation analysis and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.
Our Napier office is looking to hire a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 2 years of experience working in a geotechnical consultancy. Specifically our team is looking for an allrounder engineer/geologist who can carry out fieldwork communicate with contractors draft geotechnical reports produce quality and HSE documentation and assist in project management. Our Napier team is small and supported by our Tauranga and Rotorua offices. You must be comfortable working alone at times and reaching out for help when its needed.
What Youll Need
- A Civil Engineering Geology or Earth Science Degree
- 2 years experience in a geotechnical consultancy
- At least 2 years experience in New Zealand
- A full New Zealand drivers license
- Good interpersonal skills with a wide range of people
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work alone at times
