Job Title: Director of Asset Management
Location: Buffalo Grove IL (Onsite)

Salary Range: $141000 $180000

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Asset Management to join our team in Buffalo Grove IL. This position will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of power generation assets including renewable conventional and a biofuel pellet facility.
This is an onsite role Monday to Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities

Manage financial contractual and regulatory aspects of energy generation assets.

Optimize asset performance across operational commercial and compliance areas.

Lead communications with plant teams internal stakeholders customers ISOs and service providers.

Oversee backend settlement of energy capacity and environmental emissions transactions.

Develop and manage annual budgets.

Ensure compliance with NERC and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
-
10 years of experience managing or operating energy generation assets in North American ISOs.

2 years of NERC compliance experience in a leadership or SME role.

Strong knowledge of North American energy markets including electricity capacity emissions and fuel.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related quantitative field.

Strong communication and project management skills.
