Essential Job Functions:
Diagnose and Repair: Accurately diagnose and repair vehicles within a reasonable timeframe exceeding customer expectations.
Detailed Diagnostics: Perform diagnostics repairs overhaul and replacements for steering suspension and brake components.
Specialized Tools: Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex issues.
Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance including fluid changes lubrications safety inspections and repairs.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate maintenance records on all vehicles and equipment.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot vehicle systems identifying causes of maintenance problems and recommending repairs.
Paperwork: Follow paperflow procedures documenting repairs mileage and warranty information.
Quality Control: Perform final operational tests on all vehicles to qualitycheck repairs.
CrossFunctional Support: Perform duties of Repair Technician and Maintenance Technician as needed.
Safety: Observe and follow all necessary safety regulations.
Flexibility: Perform work of other service department members as needed.
Additional Duties: Perform any other duties necessary for customer service or assigned to the job.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3 years in Technician roles with proven experience in steering system repairs and diagnostics
Expertise: Automotive steering systems including hydraulic electric and mechanical configurations
Computer Skills: Basic Microsoft Office skills required intermediate level preferred and graphing software experience a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Vocational/Technical Degree: Automotive Services
Certifications: Relevant steering or automotive systems certification programs
Advanced Technology Experience: Electric power steering (EPS) or autonomous vehicle steering systems
Knowledge
Brakes and Suspensions: Strong knowledge
Mechanic Tools: Proficient with hand tools pneumatic tools and diagnostic equipment
Hydraulics Systems: Solid understanding
Language Mathematical and Physical Requirements
Language Skills
English and/or Arabic preferred
Ability to read interpret and write documents
Effective communication skills

Basic arithmetic operations (add subtract multiply divide)

Work Environment
Hours: 60 hours/week including overtime Saturdays and occasional evenings
Schedule: Shorter hours Thursday off Friday 1.30 hour lunch break
Travel: Occasional travel between locations
Exposures: Moving mechanical parts fumes chemicals electrical shock vibration wet/humid conditions outside weather combustibles
Environment: Fastpaced loud noise level

Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record
