Job Description

Were looking for anEngineering Managerto join our IoT/HW team to guide a diverse engineering team to new heights!

About the team:Our IoT/HW team is made up of both hardware and software engineers and their mission is to ensure highquality stable data capture from our IoT deployment with over550000assets.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead IoT/HW Team:Inspire and guide the team to create toptier software and hardware products that meet business needs and adhere to best practices.
    • Risk and Compliance Management:Ensure all products meet regulatory standards and maintain ABAXs quality targets for both inhouse and 3rd party products.
    • Enhance Operational Efficiency:Streamline workflows and tools use KPIs to track performance and drive continuous improvements in engineering processes.
    • Production coordination:Coordinate and facilitate production of inhouse and 3rd party HW products by running RFPs and managing existing vendors and production partners.
    • Develop and Manage IoT/HW Team:Foster a culture of collaboration coach engineers and manage performance reviews and development plans.
    • Collaborate Across Teams:Work closely with engineers product managers and external suppliers to meet deadlines and product requirements.
    • Documentation & Reporting:Ensure accurate technical documentation and reporting for product performance production and quality assurance.
    • Quality Assurance:Oversee data quality checks product production testing and compliance audits to ensure highquality deliverables.

  • Experience:Strong background in both hardware and software development with a focus on hardware and hardware production.
  • Leadership:Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams manage complex projects and drive performance.
  • Technical Expertise:Solid understanding of hardware development compliance regulations hardware production and agile methodologies.
  • Communication:Ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders clearly.
  • Problemsolving:Strong critical thinking decisionmaking and multitasking abilities.

Other Information:

  • Location:Larvik
  • Start date:As soon as possible
  • Work extent:Full time
  • Remote Status:Hybrid The team works from the office every Tuesday and Wednesday and from home on Monday Thursday and Friday.
