Head of Supply Chain
Location: Rayong Thailand
Target Onboarding: May 2025
Industry: Specify Industry e.g. Manufacturing Automotive Chemicals etc.
About the Role:
Our client is setting up a greenfield manufacturing plant in Rayong and is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Supply Chain to lead and establish endtoend supply chain operations. This is a strategic leadership role that requires expertise in building teams processes and systems from scratch while ensuring operational excellence and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy &

Develop and implement the overall supply chain strategy in alignment with business objectives.

Set up processes systems and best practices for efficient supply chain management.

Ensure costeffective timely and reliable movement of materials and finished goods.
Logistics & Distribution

Oversee inbound and outbound logistics ensuring smooth material flow and ontime delivery.

Optimize transportation freight and distribution networks to minimize costs.

Collaborate with suppliers transport partners and internal stakeholders for seamless operations.
Procurement & Purchasing

Establish procurement policies supplier selection and contract negotiations.

Build strong relationships with local and international vendors to ensure cost quality and supply reliability.

Drive supplier performance management to optimize lead times and cost efficiencies.
Warehousing & Inventory Management

Design and implement warehouse and inventory control processes for optimal stock management.

Ensure proper storage handling and tracking of raw materials and finished goods.

Implement lean inventory management techniques to reduce waste and excess stock.
Team Building & Leadership

Recruit train and develop a highperforming supply chain team from the ground up.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement accountability and operational excellence.

Implement and monitor KPIs to drive team performance and efficiency.
Key Requirements:
10 years of experience in endtoend supply chain management preferably in a greenfield or startup environment.
Strong expertise in logistics (inbound & outbound) procurement warehousing and inventory control.
Experience in setting up supply chain processes systems and teams from scratch.
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems inventory management tools and logistics software.
Excellent negotiation stakeholder management and problemsolving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic and evolving work environment.
Thaispeaking candidates preferred; fluency in English is required.
