Job Title: T&I Manager (Foundations Installation and Drilling)
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands (with occasional travel within the Netherlands and possible international travel)
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (Start Mid-April 2025 - Re-mobilisation from End 2026 to Early 2027
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced T&I Manager (Installation & Drilling) to join our team for a critical project in the offshore industry. The role involves working on the installation of foundations, drilling operations, and heavy lifting, with a focus on interfacing with fabricators and contractors. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Dutch-speaking teams and a proven track record in managing complex offshore projects.
The position is based in Rotterdam, and candidates will be required to work in the office 3-4 days a week initially, with the flexibility to work 1-2 days a week after induction. The start date is expected to be mid-April 2025, with project re-mobilisation anticipated between the end of 2026 and early 2027.
Foundation Installation & Drilling: Lead and oversee the installation of foundations and drilling activities for offshore projects, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.
Heavy Lifting: Manage and supervise heavy lift operations, ensuring efficient and safe .
Interface with Fabricators: Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure the timely delivery of required materials and services.
Team Coordination: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and vendors.
Project Management: Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring that project goals are met and any challenges are addressed promptly.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports, project updates, and documentation for stakeholders.
Travel Coordination: Manage travel logistics, particularly for any potential international travel.
Experience: Proven experience in T&I (Transportation & Installation) management, specifically in foundation installation, drilling, and heavy lifting operations within offshore projects.
Language: Proficiency in Dutch (both written and spoken) is required.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of offshore engineering, project management principles, and heavy lifting operations.
Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, fabricators, and external stakeholders.
Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables within deadlines.
Office Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
Travel Requirements: Local travel within the Netherlands (travel costs within the Netherlands are covered, but international travel expenses will be covered separately if required).
Work Schedule:
Full-time, starting with 3-4 days in the office per week.
After induction, 1-2 days in the office per week.
Contract Duration:
Expected start: Mid-April 2025.
Re-mobilisation for the project: End of 2026 to early 2027.
Interim period: 1-2 days per week from June to September 2025 (rates for interim period to be confirmed).
Project Status: The project is awaiting a decision regarding approval, with the final decision expected by the beginning of April. If approved, the project will involve large vessels, potentially larger than those used by Van Oord or Boskalis.
