Job Description
PA is expanding its global transport sector team and bringing new innovative transit and aviation propositions to the US market. We are looking for an Aviation Principal Consultant to join this growing team. You will work closely with clients across the aviation sector to address their most pressing challenges from optimizing operations and infrastructure to fostering innovation and sustainability. Harnessing data & digital capability will play a key role in meeting these challenges. Leveraging your expertise in the aviation industry and your consulting skills you will develop and implement strategies that drive positive change and deliver measurable results.

Developing or refining their strategies including advising on transactions and restructuring
Improving outcomes through smarter pricing innovative products and partnerships
Driving operational excellence to deliver more efficient and reliable services
Shaping customers digital strategies from initial use cases through to product development
Transforming the customer experience applying our unique total customer experience framework
Developing their talent for the future as their organization and industry evolves
Delivering technologyenabled asset management and passenger services
Maintaining critical systems and networks to defend against emerging threats
Ensuring the safety and security of passengers and cargo.
Examples of cuttingedge assignments we deliver include:
Setting the vision of a dataled airport and piloting transformational ways of operating led by data science using 65k data assets
Supporting the realization of a NextGen Airport Operational Database (AODB) to tackle key IT legacy challenges and provide a robust foundation for the airports Total Airport Management ambitions
Developing an ambitious sustainability and communication strategy for a highprofile communitycentric airport in the UK
Saving airlines in the region of $1$2M per aircraft thanks to our industryleading engine maintenance cost optimization model.
Collaborate with aviation clients to assess their current challenges identify pain points and define strategic objectives
Conduct indepth analyses of market trends regulatory frameworks and technological advancements shaping the aviation sector
Develop tailored solutions and roadmaps to address clients challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities leveraging data analytics modelling and scenario planning
Engage with stakeholders at all levels including airlines airports industry associations government agencies and technology providers to build consensus and drive alignment
Support clients in navigating complex regulatory environments securing funding and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project implementation
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in their journey towards a more efficient resilient and sustainable aviation ecosystem
Qualifications :
We are interested in hearing from experienced individuals (with at least 5 years relevant experience) who can deliver high quality work to aviation clients. We would expect successful candidates to be able to demonstrate:
Bachelors degree in relevant analytical field
Exceptional problem solving and consulting skills (does not have to be for a consultancy)
A deep understanding of aviation with experience in areas such as:
Technology including operational and commercial systems
Data science & AI in operational and commercial areas
Ground operations flight operations and maintenance
Enterprise asset management and resource planning
Sustainability or environmental issues in the aviation sector including sustainable aviation fuel
Fuel supply chain including development of alternative aviation fuels.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and develop evidencebased recommendations
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
An ability to create / maintain an effective client network by nurturing key client relationships
Experience of designing and delivering projects / programs in a range of environments
An ability to work with colleagues in a multidisciplined team
An ability to effectively manage stakeholders and work within a complex stakeholder ecosystem
An ability to work with colleagues in a multidisciplined team
Passion for innovation sustainability and making a positive impact on the future of aviation

In compliance with Massachusetts Equal Pay Transparency Act PA is required to provide a reasonable salary range for this role. This salary range is specific to the State of Massachusetts and is commensurate with experience market data applicant skills internal equity and/or degrees/certifications. Massachusetts annual range: $140000.00 High: $180000.00
