A key component of KPMGs Consulting practice is ourGovernance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Team. We work with the boards and management of Australias largest and best organisations to support the organisations strategic and operational priorities protect against these threats and build resilience into the future.
Due to current growth and increasing client demand we are currently recruiting for an Associate Director within theGRC team with a focus on Internal Audit and Risk Advisory services within the Insurance Sector (General and Life Insurers).
Your Opportunity
As an Associate Director you will:
- Manage a portfolio of clients across the Financial Services sector with a focus on the insurance sector
- Lead business development pursuits across the insurance sector including: building business relationships leading business development activities including tenders delivering presentations and contributing to the development of the Firm through exceptional networking skills and effective identification of any potential business opportunities
- Manage the overall scoping and delivery on a variety of internal audits as well as risk advisory projects
- Manage the financials of client engagements and communication of significant issues fees and estimatestocomplete to Partners and client
- Be advising high profile clients within the financial services sector focusing on risk management regulatory and process review and controls
Your Experience
- Recent experience consulting in an internal audit or riskassociated role delivering Governance Risk and/or Internal Audit services either in industry and/or in a clientfacing role
- Current or prior Big 4 / Consultancy experience highly valued
- Demonstrated working knowledge in the insurance sector (general PHI and life).
- Strong ability to analyse information quickly using innovative solutions to solve complex problems;
- Previous Business Development experience previous professional services experience with demonstrated sales experience will be highly regarded
- A tertiary qualification (postgrad qualifications such as CIA/CPA/CA will be viewed favourably)
