Job Description

We are a subsidiary of Public Listed Company on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia. As a wellestablished key player in steel manufacturing and innovative warehousing solutions backed by cuttingedge technologies we are now expanding our team and looking for a Head of Business Operations (GM Level directly reports to the Director) who are passionate to join us for a rewarding leadership career!

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Formulate and execute highimpact sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue growth and market dominance across key product categories and business segments.

  • Lead collaboration with internal units and crossfunctional leaders to align resources capabilities and efforts for optimal business outcomes.

  • Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to inspire and drive teams toward exceeding business targets.

  • Continuously assess market dynamics customer insights and competitive landscapes to refine and adapt strategies for sustained growth.

  • Establish clear sales targets KPIs and performance metrics ensuring that the sales team is consistently aligned with corporate goals driving measurable results across all performance periods.

  • Identify and capitalise on emerging business opportunities partnerships and untapped customer segments to fuel organizational expansion.

  • Partner closely with marketing to enhance brand positioning drive lead generation and cultivate lasting customer relationships.

Operations Leadership & Efficiency

  • Lead the daytoday operations with a focus on optimising business processes ensuring seamless coordination of warehouse distribution and inventory management functions to maximize operational efficiency.

  • Champion process improvements and innovative solutions that enhance costeffectiveness streamline workflows and elevate the overall operational performance of the organization.

  • Ensure compliance with both industry regulations and internal company policies while continuously setting new benchmarks for best practices and operational excellence.

  • Oversee the management of the supply chain and inventory systems maintaining rigorous control to ensure smooth uninterrupted business operations.

Customer Excellence & Technical Leadership

  • Foster a customerfirst culture ensuring superior service levels that drive customer satisfaction loyalty and longterm business relationships.

  • Lead the aftersales service team in delivering exceptional maintenance repair and warranty solutions reinforcing the company s commitment to quality and customer care.

  • Work collaboratively with technical teams to resolve complex customer issues and ensure swift proactive support.

Talent Leadership & Team Development

  • Drive a culture of high performance by providing strategic leadership coaching and development opportunities for both sales and operations teams.

  • Establish and communicate clear expectations performance metrics and incentives that align team efforts with organisational goals.

  • Implement targeted training programs and initiatives to elevate skill sets enhance leadership capabilities and prepare the workforce for future challenges.

  • Coordinate crossfunctional efforts leveraging internal resources and expertise to achieve collective business objectives.

Financial Stewardship & Strategic Planning

  • Lead the development and of financial strategies ensuring the alignment of operational budgets with organisational goals to maximize profitability and business growth.

  • Conduct rigorous financial analysis identifying opportunities for cost savings efficiency improvements and optimising resource allocation.

  • Provide insightful datadriven reports to senior management enabling informed decisionmaking around sales performance operational efficiency and financial health.

Additional Strategic Responsibilities

  • Maintain discretion and safeguard company information upholding the organisation s interests at all times.

  • Proactively identify business challenges risks and areas for improvement providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Take ownership of any additional strategic initiatives or crossdepartmental responsibilities assigned by senior leadership.



Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years in industrial sales operations and key leadership role overseeing business operations or highperforming sales team.
  • Industrial sales background and familiarity with steel manufacturing warehousing solutions or industrialrelated products is highly preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets analyse P & L statements and optimise operational costs.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience managing crossfunctional teams.
    Familiar with Business Plan and sales strategies implementation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and manage client relationships tactfully.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate longterm goals into actionable plans and results.
  • Experience in creating sales strategies and excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Resultdriven goaloriented strong problem solving capabilities.
