Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are now seeking Pharmacist Basic Grade Clinical for a private hospital located in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the procurement storage and distribution of medications and related supplies in accordance with standards of quality and costeffectiveness.
- Provide clinical and dispensary services offering guidance to medical and nursing staff as needed.
- Ensure timely collection and input of data on drug usage within the hospital following departmental guidelines.
- Execute all tasks in alignment with Pharmacy Department procedures and hospitalwide protocols.
- Engage in ongoing education and research activities relevant to the role.
- Adhere to best practices and comply with established clinical guidelines.
- Enforce Health and Safety protocols throughout the department and hospital promptly addressing any areas of noncompliance.
- Perform additional duties as required including oncall responsibilities and participation in extended opening hours such as weekends as directed by the Director of Pharmacy Services.
Requirements
- Hold a valid registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland or qualify for one.
- Must have the necessary skills and knowledge including a high level of suitability to carry out the duties of the position in an appropriate manner.
- Organizational and planning abilities
- Show a patientcentered approach; prior hospital experience is preferred.
