Job Description
Role: Data Architect
Location: Glendale CA
Duration: contract 4 days onsite hybrid)
Rate: $85/hourly on W2
Role & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product managers to understand data requirements and develop data strategies that align with business goals
- Lead the design and implementation of data architectures including semantic and dimensional models that enable efficient storage retrieval and data analysis.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as data standards governance policies and best practices to ensure data quality consistency and security.
- Work closely with data engineers and data product managers to implement scalable data analytical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance data architecture and drive innovation.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to build technical expertise and drive continuous improvement
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to crossfunctional teams on best practices and standards for data architecture.
- Design and implement business analytics and data science data architectures. These are tailored solutions to complex problems.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field
- 10 years of experience in data architecture business intelligence report development and data modeling
- Strong expertise in semantic modeling dimensional modeling and industrystandard data warehousing concepts and methodologies
- Handson experience with modern data platforms like Snowflake Databricks or Azure Synapse preferred
- Handson experience with modern cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud preferred
- Expert Proficiency in SQL
