Senior Objectstar Development Expert NV1 or Baseline Clearance Required

We are seeking a Senior Objectstar Development Expert to lead critical software development integration and deployment activities. This role involves working with Objectstar software configuration systems integration and emerging technologies to support complex IT environments.

Security Clearance: NV1 clearance is mandatory (or Baseline clearance with the ability to obtain NV1.

Key Responsibilities:

• Objectstar Development & Integration (SFIA Level 5: Take full technical ownership of Objectstar development ensuring best practices and compliance with industry standards.
• Software Development & Configuration (SFIA Level 5: Design develop and optimize software applications focusing on Objectstar and related systems. Manage configuration and deployment processes.
• Release & Deployment (SFIA Level 5: Oversee the assessment planning and of software releases including rollback strategies and risk assessments.
• Software & Systems Design (SFIA Level 4 & 5: Design complex applications and largescale systems balancing performance security and functional requirements.
• Testing & Quality Assurance (SFIA Level 4: Develop execute and optimize automated and manual testing strategies. Ensure high software reliability.
• Methods & Tools (SFIA Level 5: Promote best practices in software development configuration management and integration tools. Drive adherence to industry standards.
• Emerging Technology Monitoring (SFIA Level 5: Assess and document the impact of new technologies creating technology roadmaps to drive innovation.
• Systems Integration & Build (SFIA Level 5: Lead integration activities leveraging automation and continuous integration for efficient deployment.
• Specialist Advice (SFIA Level 4: Provide expert technical guidance on Objectstar and system integration collaborating with stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.

Key Skills & Technologies:

• Objectstar Development Expertise in Objectstar architecture programming and system optimization.
• Software Configuration & Deployment Experience managing complex deployments version control and rollback strategies.
• Programming & Scripting Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as COBOL C C or Java along with scripting for automation.
• Database & Storage Technologies Strong knowledge of SQL database integration and structured data storage solutions.
• Testing & Automation Experience in manual and automated testing test planning and .
• Integration & Middleware Handson experience with APIs middleware solutions and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Familiarity with Azure AWS or private cloud environments is a plus.
• DevOps & CI/CD Knowledge of modern DevOps practices version control (e.g. Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Government & Compliance Knowledge Understanding of compliance security standards and best practices for government IT environments.
