Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of business requirement documents and liaison with clients.
- Facilitating IT development design construction testing promotion implementation of webbased/ntier cloudbased and mainframe applications
- Responsible for PowerBuilder based development utilizing a combination of PowerBuilder Java ODBC SFTS DB2 batch processing and associated Windows technologies
- Responsible for integration of PowerBuilder Cloud components with external systems like Java SFTS and database systems
- Creation and walkthrough of Systems Response documents Technical Specifications Application Inventory and Implementation Plans.
- Preparation of test plans test data and unittesting of programs.
- Preparation of implementation plans and promotion of programs.
- System Support/Documentation
- As assigned response to client queries and troubleshooting of production incidents.
- Conduct/participate in design walkthroughs as well as test case and test results walkthroughs.
- Support testing of the changes by other team members.
- Weekly reporting on status progress and key issue/concerns as directed by the Project Lead/Project Manager or Portfolio Manage
Requirements
Technical Skills
- 10 years experience in PowerBuilder based development utilizing a combination of PowerBuilder Java ODBC SFTS DB2 Oracle batch processing and associated Windows technologies
- 2 years experience in integrating PowerBuilder Cloud components with external systems like SFTS and database systems
- Experience in development and design of new midtier applications or enhancement to existing ones in a PowerBuilder Cloud focused environment.
- Preparation of deployment builds
- Experience in ObjectOriented methodologies for the development design implementation and maintenance of PowerBuilder and Java applications.
- Experience with one or more platforms especially the Windows operating system database technology communication protocols
- Experience developing or maintaining large scale IT systems including highvolume public delivery programs
- Development and design of new programs or enhancements to existing ones
- Ability to understand and analyze business requirements and to design structured programs that efficiently satisfy these requirements.
- Ability to write programs that are modular wellstructured and easy to maintain.
- Demonstrated success writing system design and implementation documents.
- Experience with and understanding of relational databases (DB2 Oracle)
- Preparation of test plans test data and unittesting of programs
- Preparation of implementation plans and promotion of modules
- Participate in business requirements walkthroughs
- Conduct/participate in design walkthroughs
- Conduct/participate in testing walkthroughs
Analytical Skills
- Analysis of business requirement documents and liaison with clients
- Experience adopting and adhering to unified I&IT project management methodologies enterprise architecture and gating frameworks and standard systems development methodologies.
- Respond to client queries and troubleshooting of production incidents Proven and demonstrable troubleshooting and analytical experience.

- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong consulting skills to engage with all stakeholders.
- A demonstrated team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated success in working productively with business clients developers and technical specialists such as DBAs web administrators etc.
- Demonstrated experience reporting status progress and key issue/concerns to project managers and leads.
MUST HAVES:
- 10 years experience in PowerBuilder based development utilizing a combination of PowerBuilder Java ODBC SFTS DB2 Oracle batch processing and associated Windows technologies
- Experience in ObjectOriented methodologies for the development design implementation and maintenance of PowerBuilder and Java applications..
