Job Description
As a Technical Support Representative you ll play a crucial role in maintaining the seamless operation of our client s advanced retail technology solutions. You ll be the first point of contact for a diverse range of retail clients troubleshooting issues with media players amplifiers and digital signage systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cuttingedge retail technology while developing your technical and customer service skills. Responsibilities
- Provide expert firstlevel technical support for a suite of retail technology solutions including media players amplifiers and digital signage systems
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting of hardware and software issues ensuring quick resolution and minimal disruption to retail operations
- Guide clients through the process of accessing and interpreting device status information in CRM systems
- Maintain and optimize technology admin systems to ensure peak performance of retail installations
- Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone and other communication channels explaining technical concepts in an easytounderstand manner
- Meticulously log and track support tickets ensuring all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently
- Collaborate with senior technical staff on complex issues contributing to the continuous improvement of support processes
Requirements
- 3 years of Technical Support experience is required for this role
- Strong English communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Demonstrated understanding of audiovisual equipment and computer systems with a passion for staying updated on the latest retail technology trends
- Exceptional customer service orientation with a talent for building positive relationships with clients
- Proven ability to remain calm and effective when handling challenging customer interactions
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think creatively when troubleshooting unique technical issues
- Experience with CRM systems and ticketing software is advantageous
- Comfortable working in a time zone aligned with New Zealand through Western Australia
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a team that s revolutionizing the retail industry through innovative technology solutions
