Sales Engineer

Estimated CTC Basic salary the car allowance and petrol card medical aid and provident fund
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position and industry
- Proficient with in MS 365 (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams/SharePoint)
- Experience in a technical or commercial role in B2B sales (Sales Marketing Business Development)
- Strong focus on achieving sales targets and market development driving success and customer satisfaction
- Ability to interact with customers at all levels of seniority
- Capability to clearly translate customer requirements into technically and commercially strong solutions
- Strong persuasion negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills
- Detail orientated and excellent communication skills both verbally and written in English
- Efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks to maximize productivity and meet deadlines
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- Experience with capitalintensive investment decisionmaking process
- Experience or Knowledge with thermal energy and steam or hot water systems
- Experience in Consulting Design Contracting and Project CoOrdination experience
- Experience with marketing and CRM systems
Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing and potential customers to solicit enquiries
- Identify and develop potential markets customer groups and industries
- Plan and execute marketing opportunities
- Review customers specifications and commercial conditions
- Provide technically orientated solutions to meet customer requirements
- Liaise with internal departments such as engineering drawing office procurement factory services/construction etc.
- Prepare cost estimates and programs including issuing and adjudicating purchase enquiries for boughtout items
- Prepare commercial and technical proposal documents in line with company procedures
- Followup on tenders negotiate contracts and secure orders
- Prepare and issue order confirmations and handover to the Contract Department
- Monitor market developments for development of the Sales strategy
