Job Description
Job Title: Sonographer General
Location: Indianapolis IN
Salary: $37.00/hour
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (no weekends)
Job Overview:
Join a mobile imaging team dedicated to delivering diagnostic ultrasound services in diverse settings including nursing homes home care facilities prisons and more. As a Sonographer you will perform highquality portable ultrasound exams while upholding professional standards and patient care excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process portable ultrasound exams using companyprovided equipment
- Obtain accurate and clinically diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation
- Ensure patient verification through two identifiers and proper order validation
- Maintain equipment and vehicle; report malfunctions promptly
- Scan documentation and billing paperwork per protocol
- Communicate professionally with dispatch peers and clients
- Participate in ongoing training inservices and compliance protocols
- Uphold professional ethics safety standards and company code of conduct
