Seniors Care: Supportive Living and Longterm Care
Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a proven track record in nursing leadership and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional care to seniors If so we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a great team as the Director of Care RN.
As the Director of Care RN you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of RNs LPNs and Care Aides ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge resources and support they need to provide compassionate highquality care to the residents.
As the Director of Care RN you will be a strategic thinker and problemsolver driving quality improvement initiatives and maintaining evidencebased nursing practices.
Qualifications:
Your strong critical thinking and decisionmaking skills coupled with your ability to motivate and empower your team will be instrumental in creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
You will be responsible for establishing standards of conduct managing conflicts and overseeing professional development programs to ensure your staffs competency and accountability.
Additionally you will be adept at navigating regulatory requirements staffing and scheduling addressing resident and family concerns and managing the nursing care budget.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role you must have 35 years of RN Director of Care or Nursing Leadership experience within the longterm residential care setting.
You must also be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
