Job Description
- Mechanical engineering departments designs budget projects and time lines.
- Will work with all levels of personnel including the machine designers detailers electrical controls engineers project managers and field Service technicians.
- Oversee outside design resources and make sure they are on time.
- Provide engineering / technical support and subject matter expertise to manufacturing sales service and customers.
- Plan and lead Engineering projects and project teams.
- Implement and maintain standards processes and procedures.
Desired requirements for the Engineering Manager:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Experience leading Engineering departments (capital equipment industries preferred).
- Previous experience as a Machine Designer preferably using Solidworks.
- Ability to create and manage strategic objectives as well as be able to execute and lead daytoday activities of the department.
- Mentoring and coaching skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- High mechanical aptitude.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual pay range is between $100000 $125000 depending on experience level.
