Description

MiniCircuits designs manufactures and distributes integrated circuits modules and subsystems for highperformance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications.With design sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries MiniCircuits products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection measurement and imaging applications including military communication guidance and electronic countermeasure systems commercial scientific military land sea and aircraft; automotive systems medical systems and industrial test equipment.

MiniCircuits sells its products to over 20000 customers globally through our direct sales force applications engineering staff sales representatives as well as through our extensive website.

Position Summary:

Carries out daily Electronic Engineering function as part of the BU RF Energy in Rhode Island. Part Time position is possible.

Salary Range: $16.00 $24.00 per hour

Job Function:

  • Carries out a variety of Electronic Engineering tasks as part of the BU RF Energy in RI.
  • Carries out simulations with CAD tools.
  • Writes software.
  • Creates schematics pcboard layouts and mechanical drawings.
  • Performs electrical assembly tasks such as soldering.
  • Performs mechanical assembly.
  • Test and troubleshoots designs and systems.
  • Creates design documentation including schematics BOM and test results.
  • Assists engineers with RF Power Amplifiers builds and other circuitry.
  • Assists engineers with amplifier and system testing and documents and summarizes results.

The duties responsibilities and expectations described above is not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned to the member within the scope of the position.

Qualifications:

  • Working toward BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Ability to read write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and assembly drawings.
  • Ability to utilize electronic work instructions and assembly drawings.
  • Experience with design and test of electronic circuits in particular RF Power Amplifiers preferred.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks AutoCAD Orcad ADS or AWR preferred.
  • Experience with the operation of small hand tools as well as drill laces etc. preferred.
