Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As the first point of contact for our guests you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm friendly demeanor
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the restaurant and local attractions
- Coordinate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist in answering phone calls and managing togo orders
- Support the wait staff during peak hours as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a hostess or in a similar customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling bills and transactions
- Proficiency in using reservation systems and pointofsale (POS) software
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian culture and customs
- Ability to remain calm and professional in highpressure situations
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences
- Professional appearance and grooming standards
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitalityrelated education is a plus
