About the Role:
As a fulltime Music ECT you will be responsible for delivering engaging and wellstructured Music lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 covering music theory composition and performance. You will develop and adapt resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students promoting creativity and musical expression. You will assess student progress through performances compositions and written evaluations providing timely and constructive feedback. You will also participate in the schools ECT program including regular mentor meetings and professional development and contribute to departmental meetings and extracurricular music activities.
Ideal Candidate:
You should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music with a strong understanding of music theory and performance practices. Excellent communication and musical skills are crucial as is the ability to inspire and motivate students to explore their musical talents. You should also possess a commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
