About the School:

About the Role:
As a fulltime Drama ECT you will be responsible for delivering engaging and wellstructured Drama lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 covering a wide range of theatrical techniques script analysis and performance styles. You will develop and adapt resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students promoting creativity collaboration and selfexpression. You will assess student progress through performances written evaluations and participation in group projects providing timely and constructive feedback. You will also participate in the schools ECT program including regular mentor meetings and professional development and contribute to departmental meetings and extracurricular drama activities.
Ideal Candidate:
You should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Drama or a related field with a strong understanding of theatrical techniques and performance practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial as is the ability to inspire and motivate students to explore their creative talents. You should also possess a commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues. A passion for incorporating themes of social justice and ethical reflection into drama productions is desirable.
