Job Description
Wise today supports more than 40 currencies between which our customers can exchange money. This roles challenge will be to make Wise available in all 175 currencies of the world in one year allowing people and businesses to send money wherever they need making money truly work without borders.
At first youll work closely with our Swift team to open up Wise as broadly as possible. While doing so youll be working closely with our operations financial crime and treasury teams to make sure that the new routes are functioning smoothly and compliantly. Down the line youll work very closely with our banking team to figure out how to implement all our new currencies in an even more efficient manner such as working with global payment aggregators or with our regional teams with local banks and payment service providers. Finally youll have the chance to solve the puzzle of eliminating hidden fees from these new routes making Wises global payment network the most transparent one out there.
Youll maximise your chances of being successful in this role if you:
- have a strong passion for solving complex problems with analytics and tech
- have ability to structure ambiguous situations with clarity enabling a large group of people to work together effortlessly
- can communicate your ideas clearly inside Wise as well as to our partners and customers
