Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee federal construction projects ensuring compliance with plans specifications and contract requirements. The QCM will implement and manage the Quality Control Plan (QCP) while maintaining a proactive solutionsoriented approach to quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and apply plans specifications reference codes and standards with advanced technical expertise.
- Maintain strong knowledge of Federal QC systems including compliance with USACE/NAVFAC ThreePhase Control System.
- Develop implement and manage projectspecific Quality Control Plans (QCPs).
- Oversee QCS/RMS 3.0 system setup and daily functions.
- Manage the submittal process efficiently ensuring timely review and approval of materials and equipment.
- Ensure all materials equipment and workmanship meet contract requirements before incorporation into the project.
- Control and document all project communications to prevent delays or deficiencies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the Contracting Office fostering a positive and solutiondriven relationship.
- Lead required meetings with stakeholders in a professional organized and wellinformed manner.
- Monitor and document daily work activities testing and inspections ensuring full compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain consistency in required inspections taking a proactive approach to problemsolving.
- Address quality issues promptly while ensuring all resolutions align with contract requirements and client expectations.
- Collaborate with project teams to uphold quality standards ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Experience in Quality control in federal construction projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of USACE NAVFAC and other federal QC standards.
- Proficiency in QCS/RMS 3.0 and construction documentation management.
- Strong understanding of construction materials methods and testing requirements.
- Exceptional leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to conduct detailed inspections and testing in compliance with contract documents.
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
