Job Description
We are seeking a collaborative and experienced Engineering/Technical Manager to lead our Automotive Embedded Software Development team. This position will oversee 23 firstlevel managers and a team of 2040 engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation excellent leadership abilities and a peoplecentric management style.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead mentor and develop a highperforming team of engineers fostering a collaborative inclusive and supportive environment.
- Business Development: Leverage technical expertise to identify and drive new business opportunities defining strategies for regional business growth.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning and delivery of embedded software projects ensuring timely and highquality completion.
- Technical Expertise: Provide handson guidance in embedded software design development and testing. Stay updated with emerging technologies to drive innovation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including hardware engineers product managers and external partners to align software development with business goals.
- Process Improvement: Enhance engineering processes to boost efficiency quality and team performance. Encourage best practices in software development and testing.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: At least 10 years in embedded software development including 5 years in leadership roles within the embedded software industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in C/C programming realtime operating systems (RTOS) and automotive communication protocols (e.g. CAN LIN).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Project Management: Experience in agile methodologies and delivering complex projects successfully.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Emotional Intelligence: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate coach and create a supportive work environment.
