Job Description
We are seeking a (CT Technologist for a 13week travel/contract assignment in Rochester New York. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12 hour Nights; 7p7:30a
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2376 $2628
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and imaging procedures according to established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining highquality imaging standards.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans and explain procedures to alleviate anxiety.
- Operate and adjust CT equipment to obtain highresolution images.
- Administer contrast media following NYS Injection Certification guidelines.
- Recognize and respond to emergency situations and adverse reactions to contrast.
- Experience: Prior CT Technologist experience required. Minimum of 12 years of travel experience is required
- Licensure & Certification:
- NYS License in Radiologic Technology (or NYS Permit with licensure obtained within six months).
- ARRT certification (CT) is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Skills: Candidates must be proficient in performing procedures.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 50mile radius qualify for travel pay.
