Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in New Jersey. This role is essential in assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures interventional cardiology and electrophysiology studies while ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care skills experience in a fastpaced cath lab setting and the ability to respond quickly to emergent situations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in cardiac catheterization angioplasty stent placement pacemaker implantation and electrophysiology studies
- Monitor and assess patients before during and after procedures
- Administer medications IV sedation and emergency interventions as needed
- Operate and troubleshoot hemodynamic monitoring equipment and imaging technology
- Collaborate with cardiologists radiology techs and the cath lab team to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures patient status and interventions
- Follow infection control radiation safety and hospital protocols
- Active RN License in New Jersey
- BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab ICU or Cardiac Nursing experience (Required)
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring sedation administration and emergency response
- Strong critical thinking problemsolving and teamwork skills
