Job Description
Manufacturing engineer
Roles and Responsibilities:
o Design develop and optimize manufacturing processes.
o Conduct time studies and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
o Specify and design tools jigs and fixtures for production.
o Ensure tools and equipment meet precision and tolerance requirements.
o Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (e.g. AS9100 FAA).
o Implement corrective actions for nonconformance issues.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during manufacturing.
o Monitor and improve manufacturing efficiency and output.
o Specify and design tools jigs and fixtures for production.
o Collaborate with vendors to procure specialized equipment.
o Ensure tools and equipment meet precision and tolerance requirements.
o Develop processes and tooling for new products.
o Identify and implement process improvements for cost reduction and efficiency.
o Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation.
Qualification:
Professional Experience
Industry Experience:
Minimum 5 15 years of experience in machined manufacturing or a related field.
Experience in 5 axis CNC machine programming
Proficiency in understanding complex manufacturing processes.
Deep understanding of aerospace standard (AS9100 NADCAP requirements).
Knowledge of ITAR compliance and export control regulations.
Expertise in material properties.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills for production decisions.
Expertise in ESPIRIT CAM is highly preferred
Strong ability to understand GD&T requirements.
